The cabin of the 2019 Acura RLX is classic, comfortable, and ergonomically designed. Contrast piping and stitching makes for an attractive design on the bolstered front and deep rear seats. The dashboard and center console are set up to place everything right at-hand.

Redesigned Exterior Style

New for just last year, the 2019 Acura RLX carries over the brand's stunning and eye-catching diamond pentagon grille, and new, sweeping hood lines that make for an aggressive look. LED taillights in the rear, dual exhaust tips, and a thin, distinctive chrome bar across the tailgate set this model apart from the rest.

Gas and Hybrid Powertrains

Standard power comes from a 3.5-liter V6 engine making 310 horsepower and 272 pound-feet of torque. The V6 is paired to the brand's new ten-speed automatic transmission that, instead of a shifter wheel or rotary knob, actually offers an intuitive column of buttons to select your gear. Front-wheel drive with Precision All-Wheel Steer is standard on all models except the 2019 Acura RLX Sport Hybrid, which carries over its 377-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 and three-motor electric powertrain, and offers Acura's Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD).

Technology and Safety

Standard tech features include a rearview camera, a dual-screen infotainment system with navigation, and a 14-speaker sound system. The 2019 Acura RLX is currently lacking Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration options, but the current infotainment system offers maps and media streaming on its own. You can also opt for the AcuraWatch package of safety features and systems, which includes an innovative Traffic Jam Assist--which can help your car autonomously follow traffic at low speeds.
