What You Need to Know About the Upcoming New Acura RDX Generation

The upcoming 2019 Acura RDX offers many options for you, including the available Super Handling All-Wheel Drive System (SH-AWD), which allows you to get the best traction in some of the harshest conditions. You can power through the slush, ice, and more with an available turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 272 horsepower--that's a drop of about 7 HP compared to the previous generation's V6 engine, but you gain 28 pound-feet of torque in the trade-off.

The interior packs even more of the luxury that you truly look for when choosing an Acura model. There are new sport seats in the front, that are more comfortable thanks to increased adjustability and support, but even more changes come in the form of standard and optional tech features.

The upcoming 2019 Acura RDX comes with a floating center console that offers easy access to the Integrated Dynamics System (IDS) to help you choose driving modes: Snow, Comfort, Sport, or Sport+.

The standard True Touchpad Interface is a first for the soon-to-be-released new Acura RDX generation, offering you central controls for a 10.2-inch display mounted at the top of the dashboard, and an intuitive touchpad option located at the bottom of the console, below the shifter.
