Acura's Tech Vision Glossary Part 2
Thanks to content provided by http://www.acura.com, we're continuing our little
3-part mini-series this week to help familiarize our audience with Acura's amazing technology. This is part 2 of our 3-part series... enjoy!
AcuraLink Real-Time Traffic
To get a reliable traffic prognosis, the navigation system screen displays freeway traffic flow, accident locations, plus possible slowdowns from construction and weather conditions. And it's all right on the map so you can find alternate routes to alleviate the blockage.
Acura/ELS Premium Surround Sound System
Bask in a warm bath of Surround Sound with the Acura/ELS Premium Surround Sound System which delivers six distinct channels of sound from any digital source, including CDs, XM Satellite Radio, iPod or audiophile DVD-audio discs. It'll even make your 20th Century tunes sound fresh.
Super Handling All-Wheel Drive System
There's a reason turns are quicker, more stable, and seem to defy the laws of physics. Super Handling All-Wheel Drive knows which wheels need the most power in a turn and sends it there.
SH-AWD knows this forwards, backwards, and sideways.
Keyless Access System
Walk up to your Acura. As your remote is detected, the door will unlock as you touch the handle. The driver's seat and mirrors will instantly move to your preferred positions. Even your climate control and audio system will be set to your preferences. You can then start your car without ever having touched the key.
Acura Navigation System with Voice Recognition
With a single voice command, an Acura can guide you home. The system will also direct you to about seven million other destinations in its database, from museums to the nearest ATM machines. It will take you to any address you enter, and with the Nagat restaurant reviews, it can even lead you to the best spicy tuna roll in town.
come back next week as we bring you the 3rd and final part of Acura's breakthrough technology...
